It does have a couple steeper sections but the asphalt is gnarled and grippy, we've found that second gear is perfect for going up and down the hill at a comfortable managable speed. After driving this once it's super quick and easy going up and down for outings! Please note: although not too common, since we are at lower elevation, there is a chance of some light snow and the potential for ice in the winter. Although we've never had any issues getting up and down the driveway we can't control mother nature.
